Awards - Purushkars by Jain Vishva Bharati

Jain Vishva Bharati institutes and confers nine prestigious Purushkars (Awards) with the noble objective of honouring individuals and institutions who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of social service, education, literature, Jain studies, non-violence, culture, and community welfare. These awards aim to give due respect and recognition to those who are truly deserving and whose dedicated efforts have positively impacted society.

Each Purushkar is supported by esteemed charitable trusts and donors and is conferred through a transparent and well-defined selection process carried out by expert committees and representatives from different communities. Through these Purushkars, Jain Vishva Bharati upholds and promotes the values of service, ethics, knowledge, and social responsibility, while inspiring others to contribute meaningfully to society.
