Tulsi Kala Dīrgha, established in the sacred memory of Ganadhipati Pujya Gurudev Shri Tulsi, is a remarkable symbol of the cultural and artistic heritage of Jain Vishva Bharati. This art gallery attracts visitors of all ages and backgrounds and beautifully expresses the richness and aesthetic depth of Jain Dharma. The gallery houses a vast collection of ancient and modern paintings, sculptures, and handicrafts dedicated to Jain tradition, carefully preserved and artistically displayed.
The exhibits at Tulsi Kala Dīrgha are not only significant from an artistic perspective but also hold immense historical, cultural, and religious value. Special display windows showcase national and international honours, awards, citations, and commemorative artifacts received by the great Acharyas of the Terapanth tradition, presented with meticulous care and dignity.
Keeping in view the forthcoming Yogkshem Varsh, Tulsi Kala Dīrgha is presently undergoing complete renovation, incorporating modern techniques and contemporary presentation methods to enhance its visual appeal and visitor experience. This renovation project is being generously supported by Shri Mahendra Singh Bhutoria of Ladnun, presently residing in Kolkata, along with his family, whose valuable contribution is gratefully acknowledged by Jain Vishva Bharati. The gallery also continues to receive timely and valuable guidance from Munishri Kirti Kumar Ji, the spiritual supervisor of Jain Vishva Bharati, for which the institution remains sincerely grateful.
