Mahapragya International School, Tamkor was founded on 12th July 2007 on the auspicious occasion of Pragya Diwas — the birthday of Acharya Mahapragyaji — in his birthplace, the village of Tamkor. The school was established under the Jain Vishva Bharati NGO project to promote rural development and bring quality English medium education to an area previously without such opportunities. We believe education is the foundation of progress, prosperity, and happiness — a powerful force that dispels the darkness of illiteracy and builds confident, compassionate young minds.
Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Mahapragya International School is a co-educational institution that combines academic rigor with creative, value-based learning. The school offers modern infrastructure including spacious classrooms, well-equipped science and computer laboratories, a stocked library, and activity spaces that promote holistic development. Students are encouraged to participate in yoga, meditation, cultural activities, singing, dancing, dramatics, and extracurricular pursuits to grow both intellectually and personally.
Our vision is to create a nurturing environment where learning is joyful and meaningful — blending moral values, cultural awareness, and global perspectives. Through a balanced emphasis on academics, personality development, and ethical living, Mahapragya International School aims to shape well-rounded individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to society and lead purposeful lives.
