दुनिया में चार प्रकार के मानव होते हैं पहले वे जो अध्यात्म को ग्रहण कर उसे तुरंत त्याग देते हैं वे जीवन को व्यर्थ गंवा देते हैं। दूसरे प्रकार के मानव धर्म के पथ पर बढ़ते तो हैं परन्तु कुछ समय बाद आलस्य आदि दुर्गुणों से ग्रसित हो जाते हैं। तीसरे प्रकार के मनुष्य इस पथ का अनुसरण करते हैं परन्तु विशेष अवसरों पर आध्यात्मिकता से ज्यादा सांसारिकता को महत्त्व दे इसके हार्ड को भुला देते हैं। चौथे प्रकार के उत्तम मानव हर परिस्थिति में धर्म के पावन जल को अपने भीतर समाए रखते हैं। सफलता का सशक्त आधार है—पहले ज्ञान फिर उसका आचरण। ज्ञान शून्य क्रिया व्यक्ति को उत्साह होते हुए भी दिशा विहीन बना देती है और साथ-साथ आचरण शून्य ज्ञान भी किसी भी मंजिल तक नहीं पहुंचाता इसलिए ज्ञान व उसके साथ आचरण दोनों का शुभ संयोग ही भाग्ययोग के सेतु बनते हैं।
There are four types of human beings in the world: the first are those who adopt spirituality but immediately abandon it, wasting their lives in vain. The second type of humans advance on the path of religion, but after some time become gripped by vices such as laziness. The third type of humans follow this path, but on special occasions, give more importance to worldliness over spirituality, forgetting its core essence. The fourth type of noble humans maintain the sacred water of righteousness/religion within themselves under all circumstances. The powerful foundation of success is—first knowledge, then its practice. Action devoid of knowledge renders a person directionless despite having enthusiasm, and similarly, knowledge devoid of practice fails to lead to any destination. Therefore, the auspicious combination of knowledge along with its practice creates the bridge to good fortune.
