देवलोक सुरमणीक स्थान है जहां जीव अपने सुकर्मों का सुफल प्राप्त करता है। विमान ही देवताओं का निवास स्थान है, जहां वे अपने पुण्यफल का उपभोग करते हैं। विविध प्रकार के आमोद-प्रमोद के साधन वहां प्रचुर मात्रा में मौजूद हैं। देवलोक की रमणीयता अद्वितीय है। वहां का प्रत्येक दृश्य हृदय को भाव विभोर कर देता है। सुन्दर-सुन्दर उद्यान, कांतप्रिय सरोवर, सुगंधित पुष्प, बड़ी-बड़ी अट्टालिकाएं उनके उच्च वैभव का प्रदर्शन करती है। देवलोक की रस्मों के अनुसार वहां देवता उत्पन्न होने के पश्चात् अपने कार्यों का ज्ञान करने हेतु अपने अध्ययन कक्ष में सभी गतिविधियों का अध्ययन करते हैं।
देवलोक अर्थात् सुख समृद्धि की भूमि जहां पहुंचकर अपने द्वारा किए गए सत्कार्यों के प्रतिफल स्वरूप में हर संसाधन उपलब्ध होते हैं। देवलोक जहां निरंतर सुख-समृद्धि का वास रहता है। शुभ धार्मिक संस्कार वाले व्यक्ति इस गति को प्राप्त करते हैं। यहां जन्म से ही सुखाभास आरंभ हो जाता है। यहाँ जीव का जन्म पुष्यशय्या पर होता है। जन्मते ही अनेक सेवाएं सुविधाएं तत्काल उसे प्राप्त हो जाती हैं।
The heavenly realm (Devlok) is a delightful place where a soul receives the good fruits of its good deeds. Vimanas (celestial abodes) are the residences of the deities, where they enjoy the rewards of their virtues (Punya). Various forms of entertainment and pleasure are abundantly present there. The charm of the heavenly realm is unique. Every scene there overwhelms the heart with emotion. Beautiful gardens, lovely lakes, fragrant flowers, and grand mansions display their high opulence.
According to the customs of the heavenly realm, after being born there, the deities study all activities in their study chamber to gain knowledge of their duties. The heavenly realm is the land of happiness and prosperity where, upon reaching, every resource becomes available as a reward for the good deeds one has performed. The heavenly realm is where happiness and prosperity reside continuously. Individuals with virtuous religious impressions (Samskaras) attain this state of existence. Here, the sensation of happiness begins right from birth. A soul is born here on a bed of flowers (Pushpashayya). Immediately upon birth, numerous services and amenities are granted to them instantly.
