शासनमाता महाश्रमणी साध्वीप्रमुखा कनकप्रभा जी (22 जुलाई 1941 – 17 मार्च 2022) तेरापंथ धर्मसंघ की गौरवशाली परम्परा की आठवीं साध्वीप्रमुखा, विलक्षण साहित्यकार, कुशल प्रशासिका, दूरदर्शी शिक्षाविद्, चिंतक एवं बहुआयामी सृजनधर्मी व्यक्तित्व थीं। उनका जन्म 22 जुलाई 1941 को कोलकाता में श्री सूरजमलजी बैद एवं श्रीमती छोटी देवी के परिवार में हुआ। बाल्यकाल से ही अध्ययन, आध्यात्मिक चिंतन और सृजनशीलता के प्रति उनकी विशेष रुचि रही। आचार्य तुलसी के सान्निध्य में 8 जुलाई 1960 को केलवा (राजस्थान) में उन्होंने दीक्षा ग्रहण की और संयममय जीवन को पूर्णतः समर्पित कर दिया। 14 जनवरी 1972 को आचार्य तुलसी ने उन्हें साध्वीप्रमुखा के पद पर मनोनीत किया। उन्होंने छह दशकों से अधिक समय तक साध्वी समाज के संगठन, शिक्षा, अनुशासन, साहित्य-सृजन, सांस्कृतिक संरक्षण तथा आध्यात्मिक जागरण में अनुपम योगदान दिया। उनके लेखन में अध्यात्म, दर्शन, संस्कृति, नारी-जागरण और मानवीय मूल्यों का अद्भुत समन्वय दिखाई देता है। एक संवेदनशील कवयित्री, प्रखर वक्ता, कुशल चित्रकार और दूरदर्शी प्रशासिका के रूप में उन्होंने तेरापंथ धर्मसंघ को नई ऊँचाइयाँ प्रदान कीं। 17 मार्च 2022 को चौविहार संथारे के साथ उनका महाप्रयाण हुआ। उनका प्रेरणामय जीवन, साहित्य और सेवाएँ आज भी धर्म, संस्कृति और मानवता के पथ को आलोकित कर रही हैं।
Shasanamata Mahashramani Sadhvipramukha Kanakprabha Ji (July 22, 1941 – March 17, 2022) was the eighth Sadhvipramukha of the glorious tradition of the Terapanth Dharmasangha, an extraordinary literary figure, an efficient administrator, a visionary educator, a thinker, and a multi-dimensional creative personality. She was born on July 22, 1941, in Kolkata to the family of Shri Surajmal Ji Baid and Smt. Chhoti Devi. From early childhood, she possessed a keen interest in studies, spiritual reflection, and creativity. Under the auspices of Acharya Tulsi, she took initiation (Diksha) on July 8, 1960, in Kelwa (Rajasthan) and fully dedicated herself to a life of restraint. On January 14, 1972, Acharya Tulsi appointed her to the position of Sadhvipramukha.
For over six decades, she made unmatched contributions to the organization, education, discipline, literary creation, cultural preservation, and spiritual awakening of the Sadhvi order. Her writings reflect a wonderful harmony of spirituality, philosophy, culture, women's empowerment, and human values. As a sensitive poetess, eloquent speaker, accomplished painter, and visionary administrator, she took the Terapanth Dharmasangha to new heights. On March 17, 2022, she attained her final departure (Mahaprayana) through Chauvihar Santhara. Her inspiring life, literature, and service continue to illuminate the path of religion, culture, and humanity today.
